It is with profound sadness and grief that we heard this morning of the passing away of Mr. N. Madhavan (fondly known as Madhavan Chettan to all). He is the brother-in-law of our own Mr. Hemachandran Krishnan (Kerala Club EC) and leaves behind his loving wife Mrs. Indira, son Dr. Santosh Madhavan, daughter Sneha Madhavan Reese, seven grandchildren and the entire Kerala Malayalee community grieving at this loss.

Mr. Madhavan’s contribution to growth of Kerala Malayalee community has been immense. He was the first President of the Kerala Club of Detroit when it started in 1975 and later again in 1989.
