Please see attached, the news about Kerala Club officials handing over the $7,001 USD raised in the “Sing for Haiti – A Karaoke Event” held on Feb 6th in Detroit to the Red Cross, MI CEO, Mr. James J. Lavert. During that time, Mr. Lavart thanked the Kerala Club of it’s initiatives and also commented that this was the biggest fund raiser by a single organization in South East Michigan for the Haiti Relief Effort at that time. In addition, Kerala Club’s contribution and initiatives to the Haiti Relief Effort’s were recognized & published in Red Cross Michigan quarterly publication of March, 2010.
