International Childhood Cancer Day’ is a global collaborative campaign to raise awareness on Childhood Cancer and to express support for children and adolescents with Cancer ,the survivors and their families.

The day is observed to promotes increased awareness and deeper understanding of issues and challenges relevant to Childhood Cancer. It is also an occasion to interact with children/adolescents with cancer, the survivors, their families. The day reminds us of the need for more equitable and better access to treatment and care for every child suffering from cancer.

This year HOPE is planning to conduct ‘International Child Cancer Day’ event on 15 February 2019 in Kannur and the event will be conducted in association with *Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalasseri. A rally and cultural programs are planned as part of this program, and from the professionals from medical industry, prominent doctors and other people in the community are also participate in the event.
