Kerala Club
Celebrating 50 Years of Cultural Heritage and Community Service
The Kerala Club, the first non-profit, non-religious, Malayalee association in the Detroit metropolitan area, is proud to celebrate 50 years of dedicated service to the community.
Representing the Malayalees from South India and a strong membership of 1400 families, our mission focuses on promoting and preserving the rich heritage of Kerala through a range of cultural events.
We embrace all members of the community, whether you are a current resident or new to Michigan and warmly invite you to join us in our purpose. The Kerala Club provides a vibrant platform for both children and adults to engage in cultural, educational, and charitable exchanges with other organizations across the Metro Detroit area.
To foster a sense of belonging, we are actively involved in numerous local and global charitable initiatives each year, contributing to the well-being of both our immediate and broader communities. Some of our past altruistic activities include organizing cancer walks raising more than $50,000 for cancer awareness, leading community-wide vaccination drives during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing aid to the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, and raising over $100,000 for the victims of the 2018 Kerala floods.
Join us as we continue to enrich lives, celebrate our heritage, and uphold the traditions that unite us all!
